Job Description

Overview We are seeking a proactive and experienced Apartment Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance operations and ensure the optimal functioning of our residential communities. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to oversee a team of skilled technicians, manage maintenance projects, and uphold the highest standards of property upkeep. As a key leader, you will drive efficiency, safety, and quality in all maintenance activities, creating a comfortable and well-maintained living environment for residents. Your expertise in facilities management, mechanical systems, and electrical troubleshooting will be essential to succeed in this energetic and rewarding position. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities across multiple apartment communities, ensuring timely completion of repairs and preventative maintenance Lead a team of technicians by providing guidance, training, and supervision to foster a high-performance work environment Manage maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and equipment history Oversee HVAC systems, electrical systems—including high voltage and low voltage wiring—and mechanical equipment to ensure safety and compliance with regulations Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams for troubleshooting complex issues involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial maintenance systems, and schematics Conduct inspections of facilities to identify repair needs, safety hazards, or operational inefficiencies; implement corrective actions promptly Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or large-scale projects while maintaining budget control and project timelines Ensure adherence to safety protocols related to electrical work, high voltage systems, and industrial maintenance standards Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety compliance in accordance with company policies Skills Strong management skills with proven experience supervising maintenance teams in residential or industrial settings Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical experience—including high voltage and low voltage wiring—and mechanical systems Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting industrial equipment Proficiency with CMMS software for work order management and inventory control Excellent facilities management skills with an understanding of building systems and preventative maintenance strategies Ability to read technical schematics accurately using tools such as ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics Demonstrated project management capabilities to oversee multiple ongoing projects efficiently while meeting deadlines Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement in maintenance operations Fluency in English with strong communication skills for clear documentation and team coordination Join us as an Apartment Maintenance Manager where your expertise will directly impact the quality of life for residents while advancing your career in a vibrant environment dedicated to excellence!
