Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Maintenance Supervisor responsible for overseeing repairs, preventative maintenance, and ensuring the overall functionality and safety of facility operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, hands-on maintenance experience, and the ability to independently manage maintenance operations while exercising sound judgment and initiative. Candidates with experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, or related maintenance fields are strongly preferred. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate maintenance operations for facility interiors, common areas, and equipment.
Ensure completion of:
Preventive maintenance Emergency maintenance Requested maintenance repairs Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment. Perform and oversee preventative maintenance on machinery and building systems. Diagnose mechanical issues and coordinate or complete necessary repairs. Repair machines, equipment, or structures as needed. Oversee outside contractors when professional repairs are required. Maintain supply inventories and supply lists for assigned buildings. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and communicate updates effectively to staff. Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in a changing work environment. Follow Infection Control Guidelines at all times. Assist during emergency situations as directed. Maintain confidentiality of client information and records. Exercise independent judgment in prioritizing maintenance needs and operational demands.
Job Qualifications:
Preferably background in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, related maintenance, or agricultural science. Proven professional skills, evidence of good judgment, results driven. Strong project management and database management skills. High organizational commitment and professionalism. Creative, innovative, and intuitive. Able to establish and accomplish self-directed goals and objectives. Proficient in office technology - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, QuickBooks (if handling financial transactions), and accurate use of email and digital communications.
