Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager for our Auto Repair Center who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional service quality, and lead a team of skilled technicians and service advisors. Your leadership will drive operational efficiency, promote a positive work culture, and maximize customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is passionate about automotive repair, possesses strong management skills, and has a proven track record in dealership or auto service management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing team while delivering top-tier automotive solutions to our valued customers. Responsibilities Manage daily operations of the auto repair center, ensuring smooth workflow and high service standards Lead and motivate technicians, service advisors, and support staff to achieve operational goals Oversee vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance services including oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, suspension work, tire services, alignments, shocks & struts, and diesel engine repairs Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment Develop and implement strategies for upselling additional services such as auto body repairs or air brake systems to enhance revenue Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies; coordinate with vendors for timely procurement Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure excellent customer service experience Oversee auto estimating and service writing processes to accurately document repairs and communicate with customers Manage cash handling procedures and maintain accurate financial records Stay updated on automotive industry trends, new technologies, and repair techniques Qualifications Proven dealership experience or extensive auto service management background Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on mechanic experience preferred Expertise in automotive diagnostics across various systems including transmissions, brakes, suspensions, air brakes, alignments, shocks & struts, tire services, diesel engines, and oil changes Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Experience in auto estimating and service writing software tools Demonstrated ability in upselling services to increase revenue opportunities Knowledge of automotive repair standards and safety regulations Ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Join us as we drive excellence in automotive care!
