Position Summary:
To analyze, organize, plan, schedule and direct Pressware Maintenance Associates in the activities required to assure maximum machine output with required product quality and with minimum downtime for all production equipment in support of the Corelle Manufacturing process. To assist in the development and implementation of new and in the improvement of existing maintenance programs and practices including lubrication, inspection, overhaul and repair of production equipment. To assess competency, develop and implement ongoing training programs to improve performance of assigned resources. Recognize, coach, and discipline personnel in accordance with personnel and operational guidelines. What will you do? Supervises assigned Maintenance P&M resources in the performance of daily tasks, evaluates changing priorities in response to customer s request, reassigns resources as appropriate Ensures compliance with Preventative Maintenance schedules and production support and safety work orders in coordination with Production/Operations, Engineering, Mold Shop, and other Plant Department requests. Recognizes, identifies, and provides solutions to improve existing and new workflow systems to improve performance and quality of work Champion trades apprenticeship and on-going training efforts through staffing, leveraged on-the-job training opportunities, job/task-QA audits Defines and procures parts, materials and tools required by the Maintenance Department to perform job changes, machine repairs, machine inspections and maintenance efforts Ensures accurate maintenance and repair records for work order system and production equipment tracking. Tracks costs, communicate with departments charges regarding those costs, maintains labor distribution system allocating those costs to customers Maintain/update process controls and associated documentation Administer corporate and local facility policies and labor agreement Manage complex projects spanning the entire facility. This includes, but is not limited to drafting proposals, obtaining funding, collecting bids, overseeing work, communicating to stakeholders, and confirming delivery of expected work/product. Obtain and maintain understanding of Finishing Maintenance Shop to include Decoration Room and Cold End equipment maintenance requirements.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift over 50 pounds. Eighty per cent of the time will be spent on the production floor.
Qualifications:
High School diploma required, Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent experience Minimum 2-5 years of supervisory experience (preferably in a union environment) Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and 5S principles Ability to make decisions, troubleshoot, problem solve and multi-task Good verbal/written communication skills Strong leadership interpersonal skills, good team player Basic to intermediate computer skills Must be available to work any shift EEO Corelle Brands. participates in

Comp Range:
$70,5k
  • $72,5k This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
