Job Description
Maintenance supervisor role focused on manufacturing equipment maintenance, machine repair, contractor coordination, maintenance procedures, and department supervision. Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent maintenance leadership experience 5-10 years of maintenance experience or equivalent training and experience Manufacturing machine maintenance background Experience supervising maintenance or engineering personnel Experience performing routine maintenance on production equipment Experience monitoring, repairing, and documenting process and production equipment issues Experience executing machine repairs, alignments, lubrication, and coolant changes Basic understanding of electrical systems, including 24V to 480V DC and AC voltage Experience with ladder logic Experience with PLCs Experience with VFDs Experience with instrumentation and control devices Familiarity with air handlers, condensers, and evaporators Knowledge of safe chemical use, handling, and disposal Knowledge of lockout/tagout, arc flash, machine guarding, HazCom, DOT, RCRA, and material handling safety requirements U.S. citizenship or Green Card holder status Preferred Skills Electrical maintenance experience HVAC maintenance experience Plumbing maintenance experience Contractor coordination experience Maintenance budget tracking experience Maintenance procedure design experience Manufacturing facilities maintenance experience Responsibilities Supervise maintenance department employees Supervise 3-4 maintenance and engineering direct reports Train maintenance department employees Perform routine maintenance work throughout the production floor Monitor process and production equipment for issues Repair process and production equipment Document equipment problems and repair needs Coordinate with contractors to obtain repair information, required parts, and procedures Support completion of maintenance projects and assigned tasks Design maintenance procedures Track maintenance budgets and expenses Perform inspections to identify equipment and facility problems Complete machine repairs, alignments, lubrication, and coolant changes Support secondary electrical, HVAC, and plumbing maintenance needs Maintain compliance with safety requirements for chemical handling, lockout/tagout, arc flash, machine guarding, HazCom, DOT, RCRA, and material handling
Pay:
