Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an organized and energetic team player to lead our Grounds and Rafting crew at a busy riverfront campground. This role involves general maintenance and overseeing all aspects of our grounds crew work, including site/property cleanliness, landscaping, and firewood deliveries. Additionally, you would manage the rafting/canoe operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and excellent guest experiences. You will be coordinating and managing, but it is a highly hands-on role in the field with the tasks of the crew. Your leadership will inspire a team dedicated to maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces and delivering memorable outdoor adventures. Responsibilities:
Active work in the field of grounds and rafting operations Lead our grounds crew operations Lead our rafting/canoe operations, including drivers, in coordination with the office Lead landscape maintenance including gardening, landscaping, tree care, and irrigation systems to keep the campground vibrant and welcoming Conduct regular inspections of grounds for maintenance needs, safety hazards, or areas requiring attention Maintain records of maintenance schedules, safety inspections, equipment repairs, and project progress Lead and mentor team members in skillset techniques, equipment operation, safety procedures, and customer service standards Soft knowledge of plumbing a positive
Requirements:
Previous experience of similar work Must have excellent organization skills and communicate effectively Knowledge and skill of general maintenance and repairs Must be able to follow and institute portals and procedures Ability to oversee tasks and projects with attention to detail and quality standards Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team and foster a positive work environment This role offers an engaging environment where your expertise in outdoor maintenance combined with leadership skills will directly impact guest satisfaction. Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
