Full Job Description About Garage Force ROC:
Garage Force ROC is a premier provider of premium concrete floor coatings in the Rochester area. Specializing in high-end, extremely durable Polyurea and Epoxy coating systems for residential garages, basements, and commercial spaces. We pride ourselves on unmatched quality, meticulous attention to detail, and a superior customer experience.
The Role:
Garage Force ROC is seeking an experienced and responsible Floor Coating Crew Leader to oversee and lead our installation crews. The Crew Leader is responsible for managing the on-site application of our coating systems to floors and other surfaces, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires strong leadership skills, a solid background in construction or painting, and excellent customer service abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Oversee and manage a team of Floor Coating Installers.
Project Oversight:
Lead the installation process from start to finish, including surface preparation, coating application, and providing decorative finishes as needed.
Operational Management:
Efficiently handle planning and prep work, calculate material and time requirements, and ensure a safe and organized work environment.
Equipment Management:
Operate and ensure proper maintenance of general construction equipment, such as grinders, shop vacs, and floor polishers.
Inventory & Accounting:
Track and account for all products, equipment, and supplies used on projects.
Client Relations:
Communicate with clients throughout the project to guarantee their satisfaction.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Experience:
A background in painting or construction with prior leadership experience is required. Experience operating general construction equipment is essential.
Physicality:
Must be able to perform physical labor for 8-12 hours per day and lift 50 pounds or more. Must be able to work in various indoor and outdoor environmental conditions.
Reliability:
Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on construction equipment (changing belts, fixing vac hoses, etc.).
Licensing:
Must possess a valid driver's license or be able to obtain one within the first 30 days of employment.
Background Check:
Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal/motor vehicle background check.
Travel:
Ability to travel to job sites. This is a fast-paced leadership position with a starting pay of approximately $27 - $35 per hour, depending on experience.
Pay:
