This role is responsible for overseeing preventive and predictive maintenance programs, managing spare parts inventory, coordinating maintenance work orders, and supporting the performance and development of Maintenance and Tooling Technicians. The position plays a critical role in keeping production running smoothly while meeting safety, quality, and operational goals. Summary/Objective As with each role within Archem America, everyone is responsible to ensure a safe and clean working environment. Complete ownership of the PM System and the Express Maintenance software including critical spare parts, Preventative and Predictive Maintenance, Work Requests, and Work Orders for Maintenance and Tooling. Reduce downtime through Express Maintenance software and these activities. Manage machine up time though preventative maintenance and work orders using Express Maintenance Maintain performance standards of all technicians, with focus on ensuring productivity even with all machines in good working order. Essential Functions Set goals for performance and deadlines that comply with the company's vision. Organize work tasks and ensure that the Maintenance and Tooling Technicians understand their job duties. Oversee Maintenance and Tooling Technicians work performance, in turn, provide proper feedback and support. Assign critical spare parts and maintain all of the critical spare parts into the Express Maintenance for each machine - keep all min and max levels at a requirement that will ensure minimal downtime and reduce our costs. Update monthly downtime reports using the Downtime File created in Excel. Enter downtime information daily and into Express Maintenance software by Equipment Name when any repair is needed. Track the downtime by Equipment name. Update and print downtime charts to be displayed daily, weekly, and monthly. Order all spare parts that are used on a daily basis, work with Purchasing Department to obtain quotes. Pick up parts from shipping, enter those parts into Express Maintenance to ensure the part levels are back up to the max levels. Prepare equipment such as pumps for shipment and deliver to the Shipping Department that we do not repair in house. Track these services from outside vendors by Equipment Name in Express Maintenance software. Check maintenance requests and convert to work orders on a daily, weekly, monthly basis for Maintenance and Tooling or as needed based on the services required. Verify weekend schedule and confirm coverage; input time away from work information for technicians Follow-up on all open or out of date Work Orders. Follow-up on all outstanding purchase requests. Maintain a clean Maintenance Shop and Spare Parts Storage. Organize, label, clean and create 3S rules to maintain the condition of both areas. Required Education and Experience Minimum High School Diploma Two (2) year degree or five + (5) years' equivalent experience in industrial maintenance Experience mechanical, basic electrical, hydraulics, troubleshooting & robots Written and oral communication skills Computer skills Work Environment This job operates in a plant and office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Able to walk the plant floor multiple times a day. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs. Ability to wear SCBA for long periods of time with a suit on if needed Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This position could require long hours, nights, and weekend work. Travel Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected. (
