Now hiring an Assistant Service Manager! We are seeking an Assistant Service Manager with a "Whatever It Takes" approach to join our team! In this full-time role, you will primarily support High Acres while also providing support across Meadows, Canal Crossing, and Steeplechase as needed. This position is ideal for a strong maintenance professional who can balance leadership with hands-on support while partnering closely with the Service Manager to ensure our communities meet company standards and applicable laws. As the Assistant Service Manager, you will help to: Manage, develop, and mentor the team in diagnosing problems and making repairs. Provide expert knowledge and troubleshooting in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, preventative maintenance, carpentry, exterior structure, and appliance repair. Support the Service Manager with day-to-day maintenance operations while maintaining a strong team-first mentality. Be accountable for establishing and preparing a 24-hour on-call schedule for your team. Manage and organize inventory of all maintenance materials. Establish an on-call schedule, preventative maintenance schedule, make-ready schedule, and general work order schedule for the team. Regularly inspect community buildings, including vacant units. Provide support across multiple communities within the regional portfolio when needed. Complete tasks assigned by the Service Manager.
Compensation & Incentives:
Base Pay:
$23.00 to $26.00 /Hr. Up to 50%
Rent Discount Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions Morgan Essentials:
$300 quarterly
On-Call Appreciation:
$15/day for holding the on-call phone Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits 401(k) Retirement Plan with Company Match Generous Paid Time Off, including 10 holidays per year and sick leave Hours & Schedule Monday -
Friday:
8 AM- 4:30 PM Paid rotating on-call (participation required) Must be available and prepared for emergency events Schedule subject to change based on business need What we'll expect from you: Active and valid driver's license and personal vehicle. HVAC certification required; EPA/CFC certification strongly preferred. One-year certificate, 2-4 years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience. #AC6234 If you are hired at Morgan Properties, your overall compensation package will also be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
