Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Lead Mechanic to oversee and coordinate maintenance and repair operations for a diverse fleet ofautomotive repairs and diagnostic systems. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of mechanics, ensure the highest standards of safety and quality, and maintain optimal equipment performance. Your expertise will drive efficiency across our operations, ensuring that all machinery functions reliably and safely. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to showcase their mechanical mastery while fostering a collaborative team environment. Duties Supervise and mentor a team of mechanics, assigning tasks and ensuring timely completion of repairs and maintenance Diagnose complex issues across various equipment including heavy machinery, farm equipment, trucks, excavators, cranes, and industrial systems Perform detailed inspections using schematics, diagnostic tools, and technical manuals to identify mechanical faults Oversee fabrication, welding, and assembly work to modify or repair equipment as needed Conduct repairs on transmissions, hydraulics, brake systems, suspensions, shocks & struts, and electrical components Lead troubleshooting efforts for automotive electrical systems, HVAC systems, and other mechanical systems Ensure compliance with safety standards during all repair activities and maintain accurate service records Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules to maximize equipment uptime and longevity Skills Extensive dealership experience with mechanical repair/ diagnostics operation Proficiency in fabrication techniques including welding and soldering using power tools Strong knowledge automotive electrical systems Skilled in reading schematics for complex mechanical and electrical troubleshooting Hands-on experience with truck repair, tire service, alignment, brakes, shocks & struts and all other suspension components Mechanical knowledge of transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, HVAC components and air brake systems Familiarity with automotive repair procedures Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team of mechanics Strong customer service orientation with clear communication skills for working with internal teams or external clients Join us as a Lead Mechanic to leverage your technical expertise in a dynamic environment where safety meets innovation. Pay:
$27.24 - $32.81 per hour
