Job Description
Service Manager Service Manager Troy, NY $115,000 - $130,000 Days role Key Responsibilities include: Manage the daily operations of the Service Department and field service team Coordinate customer schedules and dispatch service technicians to routine and emergency calls Work closely with customers to ensure excellent service and project execution Develop new business opportunities through customer visits and relationship building Support sales activities by identifying service and equipment opportunities Assist with recruiting, hiring, and developing service technicians Maintain and expand existing combustion equipment partnerships Collaborate with the parts department to support service activities Ensure prompt communication between field staff and office personnel Ensure all work is completed in accordance with applicable industry codes and standards Qualifications & Experience required: Minimum 5 years of experience within Commercial or Industrial Service Operations Strong knowledge of Boilers, Burners, Mechanical Rooms, and Combustion Systems Experience managing service technicians and coordinating field service activities Engineering background within Boiler, Combustion, or Mechanical Systems preferred Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
