Compensation:
$61,750 - $82,914 (Annual) West Valley Cleanup Alliance is the prime contractor selected by the U.S. Department of Energy to manage the Phase 1B Deactivation & Demolition Contract at the West Valley Demonstration Project site. The site is a scenic 30-minute drive south of Buffalo, New York. In cooperation with the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, West Valley Demonstration Project continues to decontaminate and decommission facilities at this site. Job Summary / Purpose of Position Performs complex and diverse administrative assignments within a functional specialty. Possesses considerable knowledge of the job. Complete acquaintance with and understanding of the general and detailed aspects of the job, and their practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered. Establishes own priorities and schedules and, without management review, answers questions and resolves administrative problems. Minimum Qualifications Education / Experience High School education or equivalent. Minimum of four (4) years of related experience.

None Other Requirements May guide lower classified employees in group or department in procedures, standards, and company organization. May establish work priorities of other employees in group or department. Works under minimal supervision for all but new or unusual assignments. Establishes own work schedule and priorities. Must obtain and maintain DOE access authorization. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. The salary and grade level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the candidate's education, training, and/or relevant experience. Major Responsibilities / Scope of Work Maintain a safe and healthful work environment by following established safe work practices and procedures; investigating and reporting identified safety concerns or situations. Adhere to standards contained in the Company "Code of Conduct," Company EEO practices, and DOE directives. Performs complex administrative technical details of various projects applying advanced methods and knowledge to solve variety of problems within functional specialty such as engineering, purchasing, or operations. Creates and/or generates special or routine reports applying advanced knowledge of computer applications and techniques. Establishes priorities, determines schedules, and assigns routine work and special administrative tasks to lower-level employees, as directed. Orients and trains other employees in administrative support functional specialty. Gathers and compiles financial information for budget planning and analysis purposes.
