Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
  • Responsible Supervision of the Environmental Department as well as for preventative maintenance and repairs within the facility and residents dwelling - see responsibilities and duties.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
  • Complete preventative maintenance schedule as required respond to resident requests regarding corrective work orders and monitor systems for regulatory compliance.
  • Perform daily ground inspections and rectify any issues such as (light bulbs, repairs or any other items that may require maintenance.) . Supervision and scheduling of all enviormental staff
  • Empties, cleans and relines trash receptacles and disposes of trash properly according to prescribed manner.
  • Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and general maintenance.
  • Responds to calls from the front desk and completes necessary work orders prior to the end of scheduled shift.
  • Prepares and inspects apartments for moving in(s) and move out(s) to assure everything is working properly.
  • Attend staff meetings and training as requested.
  • Works on all scheduled shifts assigned which may at times be changed or variate as workload and scheduling dictate.
  • Assists in moving supplies and furniture as directed.
  • Physically set up and break down for social events, meetings, etc. as directed.
  • Follow all Departmental sanitation and infection control procedures.
  • Assumes responsibility for regular attendance.
  • Demonstrates the ability to effectively communicate with geriatric residents.
  • Must be extremely well organized and detail-oriented professional with a high emphasis on the ability to communicate and follow up on assignments through completion.
  • Always follow all safety rules and regulations. Must be knowledgeable of National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and life safety codes state regulations and building codes.
  • Responsible and available for 24-hour emergency maintenance repairs when called upon.
Perform all other duties as directed.

Full-time Pay:
$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
