Residential Service Manager Rain One Inc.
About Us:
Rain One Irrigation & Drainage is a family-owned home services company based in Columbus, Ohio, specializing in irrigation and drainage installation, service, and repair for residential and commercial customers. We're growing rapidly and building a customer service-focused culture where techs can develop their skills and advance their careers.
The Role:
We're looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead our residential service team. This isn't a high-pressure sales role - it's about coaching technicians, building customer relationships, and creating a team culture where people want to show up and do great work. You'll be responsible for daily operations, performance management, technician development, and ensuring our customers get exceptional service every time.
What You'll Do:
Lead, coach, and develop one of our teams of residential service technicians Drive performance through KPI tracking, ride-alongs, and ongoing training Manage daily scheduling, dispatch, and service operations using ServiceTitan Hold techs accountable while being a strong advocate for the team Build systems and processes to support growth and efficiency Ensure customer satisfaction and quality service delivery Partner with leadership on strategic planning and team development
What We're Looking For:
Experience in home services (irrigation, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or similar trades) Background managing or leading service teams and developing technicians Experience with ServiceTitan or similar service management software (preferred) Strong coaching skills - you know how to get the best out of people Data-driven approach to performance management (KPIs, metrics, accountability) Customer-focused mindset - solutions over sales pressure Comfortable having difficult conversations and making tough decisions Track record of building strong team culture
