Your New Role You're the backbone of the hotel—the one who keeps everything running smoothly, from the flick of a light switch to the turn of a faucet. As a crucial part of our team, you'll ensure that every corner of our property is in peak condition, offering a comfortable and delightful experience for guests and a stable, engaging work environment for your teammates. Take pride in maintaining the physical integrity of our beautiful historic building through routine upkeep and proactive maintenance. Respond with empathy and efficiency to guest concerns—your role directly impacts their stay, and your quick thinking ensures satisfaction. Stay safe and keep others safe by adhering to safety guidelines when using tools and equipment. Communicate effectively with other hotel departments to guarantee timely resolutions to maintenance needs. Be prepared for anything—maintain knowledge of hotel emergency procedures to support both guests and team members in critical situations. Are You the Right Fit? Experience & Education You have at least 2+ years of maintenance experience, ideally in a hotel or similar environment. A High School diploma or equivalent educational certificate is required. Electrical and/or plumbing certifications are a plus! A valid driver's license may be needed depending on job duties. Communication Strong verbal and written communication skills are key—you should be able to explain complex issues in simple terms. Proficiency in the primary language used in the workplace is a must. Physical Be ready to move! Your job will involve 8+ hours per day of standing, walking, reaching, and bending. Occasionally, you'll need to lift or maneuver items weighing up to 75 pounds.
