Maintenance Manager

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Maintenance Manager to work in the Defiance Oh area. This position offers a variety of great benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off. Salary Range $110,000-$150,000.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations within a consumer goods manufacturing facility. This role ensures the reliability, efficiency, and safety of production equipment and infrastructure. The Maintenance Manager leads a team of technicians, implements preventive maintenance programs, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and support production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, schedule, and oversee all maintenance activities, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance Manage and lead a team of maintenance technicians, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and development Ensure all equipment and systems operate efficiently and meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards Develop and implement maintenance strategies to reduce equipment downtime and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to support operational goals and resolve equipment-related issues Monitor maintenance KPIs and prepare reports on performance, costs, and improvements Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships Ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant safety regulations Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for equipment failures Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing and reliability-centered maintenance

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field (or equivalent experience) 5-10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in consumer goods Proven leadership experience managing maintenance teams Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, automation systems, and maintenance best practices Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) Familiarity with lean manufacturing, TPM, and continuous improvement methodologies Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills About Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) ITS is an international recruiting and staffing firm specializing in Engineering, Technical and Professional positions.
