Job Description

Job Overview THK Rhythm North America Co., Ltd. is seeking a skilled, hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to support our automotive manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for supervising and executing maintenance systems and workflows with a primary focus on machine uptime, production KPI performance, and equipment reliability. The Maintenance Supervisor will perform and oversee corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems, playing a key role in minimizing downtime, improving reliability, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities; Maintenance & Repair Oversee all maintenance and repair activities for production and support equipment Oversee all mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs Troubleshoot equipment issues using tools, schematics, and diagnostic instruments Execute scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance activities Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and equipment condition Investigate root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions Recommend and support equipment upgrades and process improvements Collaboration & Leadership Work closely with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime Communicate maintenance status during shift handoffs Provide guidance, training, and technical support to maintenance team members Oversee the maintenance team members work schedule Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Multi-craft certification required Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field preferred Minimum 2+ years of experience maintaining and repairing industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience Hands-on knowledge of automated machinery, PLCs, motors, pumps, conveyors, and electrical systems Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures, compressed air systems, and quality standards Proficient with diagnostic tools, hand tools, and fabrication equipment PLC troubleshooting and basic programming a plus Experience with robotics and automation preferred Welding and machining experience required Working Conditions Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Work in varying temperatures within a manufacturing environment Why Choose TRNA?
