Maintenance Director Duties and Responsibilities :
Assure that all defective machines, equipment, and appliances are repaired or replaced See that grounds and facility are kept safe, neat, and orderly Conduct monthly fire drills Organize, maintain, and store all department-specific supplies and equipment Inventory, identify and help store resident's personal possessions on an ongoing basis Complete forms, reports, evaluations, studies, etc. related to the Maintenance Department Make sure all maintenance work meets quality standards Supervise planned program of preventive maintenance Responsibility for staffing, training, supervision, discipline, and schedule for department
Maintenance Director Qualifications and Skills :
Minimum of a high school diploma or completed a GED program as well as computer knowledge/skills At least three years of maintenance related experience and basic knowledge in carpentry, painting, plumbing, and lawn care Must be available on call for urgent community needs
