Assistant Maintenance Manager (Direct Hire) Competitive Salary (Based on Experience) 1st
Shift:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Hours may vary based on business needs Advance Your Leadership Career in Aerospace Manufacturing We are seeking an experienced Assistant Maintenance Manager to join our growing aerospace manufacturing operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional who wants to continue developing their leadership skills and progress into a Maintenance Manager role. The ideal candidate will have strong CNC maintenance experience, proven leadership abilities, and a passion for continuous improvement, safety, and operational excellence. What You'll Do Support the Maintenance Manager in overseeing daily maintenance operations Help ensure all plant equipment and manufacturing processes operate efficiently and safely Assist with planning and coordinating equipment installations and facility improvements Lead maintenance activities involving CNC machines and advanced manufacturing equipment Assist with preventative maintenance programs and scheduling Track work orders, maintenance inventory, and equipment documentation Conduct facility and equipment inspections Support troubleshooting and repair efforts to minimize downtime Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Leadership teams Assume maintenance leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Maintenance Manager Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement Qualifications 7+ years of manufacturing experience Minimum 5 years of CNC machining and maintenance experience At least 2 years in a leadership role supervising 10+ employees Experience supporting production throughput, equipment reliability, and quality goals Strong understanding of industrial maintenance systems and manufacturing operations Experience with preventative maintenance programs and maintenance planning Ability to identify root causes and implement corrective actions Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Experience with ADP Workforce Now is a plus Associate Degree, technical certification, or trade school training preferred Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills What We're Looking For ✔ Hands-on maintenance leadership experience ✔ CNC equipment expertise ✔ Strong safety mindset ✔ Ability to lead and motivate teams ✔ Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills ✔ Desire to grow into a Maintenance Manager position ✔ Self-motivated and results-driven professional Benefits Competitive Pay Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Company-Paid Life Insurance Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Coverage 401(k) with Company Match Paid Vacation Paid Holidays Health Savings Account (HSA) Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Supplemental Insurance Options Clean, Climate-Controlled Facility Direct Hire Position Career Growth & Development Opportunities Why Join Us?
