Job Description

Looking for an Experienced Apartment Maintenance Supervisor for our apartment community. Offering competitive hourly/salary with experience and great healthcare benefits. Must have knowledge of residential property maintenance, including routine and preventive maintenance, turnover maintenance, and other duties to maintain the community. The ideal candidate will be HVAC certified and have prior experience in the areas of management, HVAC, plumbing, appliance repair, electrical and carpentry. This position also needs someone with the quality to multi-task and adapt well in a fast paced environment and have strong leadership skills. Responsibilities including but not limited to the following: 2 year minimum of Apartment Maintenance experience Experience in all phases of building maintenance and repairs (electrical, plumbing, hvac, water irrigation systems, carpentry, painting, flooring, alarm systems, keys/locks, pool areas and general maintenance). Supervise maintenance team and train maintenance staff Schedule and assist with resident service work orders Participate and coordinate On-Call rotations Walk vacant units and ensure that all make-ready units are completed and on schedule Monitor inventory and purchase of maintenance supplies. Prepare purchase orders, requisitions, and contracts for maintenance equipment, supplies and services Completion of preventive maintenance schedule and conducts apartment and property inspections Work as a team and perform tasks independently Enforce and adheres to company policies, rules and regulations Assure safety practices are used which comply with all company, local, city, state and federal guidelines Follow policies and procedures and comply with Fair Housing, state and federal laws Regular, on-time attendance Special projects and other responsibilities as assigned Must have own transportation and have own hand tools and live within a 20 mile radius.
