- Full-time Romer's is seeking an experienced, dependable, and hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance operations across our properties.
This leadership position is ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping facilities operating at the highest level and enjoys solving problems before they become emergencies. The successful candidate will oversee maintenance for: Four Romer's Catering venues 30 rental units at Romer's Westlake Villas The Inn at Romer's boutique hotel Grounds, equipment, vehicles, and all related facilities About the Role As the Head of Maintenance, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and performing all aspects of maintenance and repair. You will ensure our facilities remain safe, attractive, and fully operational for our guests, residents, and employees. Responsibilities Oversee all preventive and corrective maintenance across multiple properties Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, and general building issues...OK to contract out services if needed Coordinate and prioritize daily maintenance requests Perform routine inspections of buildings, guest rooms, rental units, kitchens, banquet spaces, and grounds Develop and manage preventative maintenance schedules Troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen equipment when possible Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors when specialized services are required Assist with renovation and improvement projects Supervise and train maintenance team members (1-2 people assisting) Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience , preferably in hospitality, commercial facilities, property management, or a related field Strong working knowledge of: Electrical systems Plumbing systems HVAC systems Carpentry and general construction Mechanical troubleshooting Ability to prioritize multiple small projects across several locations Excellent organizational and communication skills Self-motivated with a strong work ethic Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work as required HVAC certification, electrical licensing, or other trade certifications are a plus but not required What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Company vehicle available for work-related travel Paid time off Health and retirement benefits (if applicable) Supportive, family-oriented work environment The opportunity to make a meaningful impact across a diverse portfolio of properties Long-term career growth with an established and respected local company Join the Romer's Team For decades, Romer's has been committed to providing exceptional experiences for our guests and residents.
