Job Summary:
The Service Supervisor will lead the service shop and yard to ensure an efficient, safe, and profitable operation. This individual will work daily in the shop overseeing technicians working on heavy equipment and providing coaching, development, and training for them. In addition to that, the Service Supervisor will also keep up to date with manufacturer warranties, and policies, and keep an eye on the progress of repairs and service, with daily monitoring of open work orders. The position will work closely with other supervisors to ensure the successful growth of all technicians.
What We Are Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Five years of industry experience. Five years supervisory experience. Knowledge and understanding of heavy equipment repair procedures. Must possess a mentorship attitude Ability to lead and motivate employees. Proficient computer skills. Self-directed, personable, and service-oriented with technical aptitudes. Mature and possess sound business understanding. Ability to provide excellent customer service.

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of the job, the supervisor is occasionally required to sit, push, pull, and balance. Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, squat, knee, balance, and use hand to finger, feel, or operate objects. Occasionally, heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) is required. Driving motor vehicles and heavy equipment is occasionally required. Climbing stairs and ladders is occasionally required. Hand-eye coordination is necessary to operate equipment. Specific visual abilities required of this job include close vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
