        117478JOB SUMMARY Responsible to plan and schedule resources needed for future and reactive work, to include required skills, materials, specialized equipment, and contract services. Gathers and analyzes information in order to maximize the efficiency of our maintenance resources and improve equipment reliability. Evaluates current procedures and recommends changes to improve the efficiency of planning and scheduling maintenance activities.
        LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY
        • General responsibilities with standardized processes.
        Works under limited supervision. Resolves routine questions and problems. Refers the more complex issues to higher levels. Follows established procedures to accomplish requirements of job. Some latitude for deviation.
        ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
        • Ensures proper functional location numbers are assigned.
        • Works with the Maintenance Engineer to develop and administer the Preventive Maintenance Plans.
        • Create requisitions as needed, in SAP, for materials, equipment, contract services, etc.
        • Work with Supply Chain to research, source and order parts, request services and to contribute to continuous improvement.
        • Identify needed resources including man power, tools, material and equipment.
        • Create appropriate scope of work and task lists.
        • Perform job site inspections to identify specific hazards, complicating factors and unexpected conditions associated with the location.
        • Create work orders from notifications after reviewing for completeness and clarity.
        • Responsible to promote a safety culture by modeling and coaching behaviors consistent with IIF (Incident and Injury Free).
        • Establish time and cost estimates.
        • Develop and maintain job packages for members to use in the execution of their work.
        • Acts as the plant contact for various contract services.
        • Maintain correct work order status in SAP.
        • Request Material Master set up for new materials.
        • Complete notifications when order is TECO'd.
        • Review completed work order for completeness and accuracy before changing status to Technically Complete (TECO).
        • All other duties as assigned.
        • Work with Maintenance Supervisors to determine available resources and carry-over work.
        • Maintain backlog of Available to Schedule (ATS) work orders for use in preparing weekly schedule.
        • Create and maintain SAP Master Data related to the maintenance process.
        • Create weekly schedule for maintenance crews.
        REQUIREMENTS
        • High School Diploma/GED
        • 5 years work experience in a power plant, manufacturing, or process plant with technical, mechanical, or operational role (e.g., Instrument and Control Technician, Plant Mechanic, Auxiliary or Control Operator, or Plant Electrician); Or
        • 7 years work experience in Material Handling and/or mechanical/technical experience to include 2 years in a mechanical/technical role within a commercial or industrial setting combined with demonstrated experience in procure to pay process.
        WORKING CONDITIONS
        • Office environment and regular trips into shop or plant.
        • May be required to work non-standard work schedules for either planned or emergent work opportunities.
        • Requires travel within the company service territory to overnight stays.
        • May be required to wear PPE such as hard hat, safety glasses, flame retardant clothing, steel toed boots, hearing protection, fall protection harness and/or respirator, as applicable.
        • May be exposed to extreme conditions and inclement weather.
