Q U A LIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Five years' recent experience as an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Airframe and Powerplant Certification Inspection Authorization Certification, or ability to obtain certificate within one year. Extensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations Part 43, Part 91, Part 135 Five years' FAR 135 turbine rotorcraft maintenance experience Three years' working as a Quality Inspector for a Part 135 operator preferred Three years' experience working for an EMS helicopter program preferred Maintenance experience on AW119, EC135, H145, BH407, BH429, and PC12 aircraft preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends as needed Valid Driver's license, automobile in good repair and proof of auto insurance Analytical abilities sufficient to handle complex technical and administrative matters and take initiative, creating, implementing, and improving processes and policies Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
With direction from the Maintenance Quality Manager, determine and oversee day-to-day duties of Maintenance Quality Inspectors With direction from the Maintenance Quality Manager, determine, communicate, and oversee inspection status of aircraft Perform audits of maintenance logbook entries, work packages generated by the maintenance department, processes, and procedures Perform Inspections as required on aircraft after maintenance Act as a liaison between management and technicians to ensure accurate, compliant and complete logbook documentation Generate maintenance record entries in accordance with 14 CFR Part 135 requirements and its appropriate manual, including completion or review of FAA forms 337 and other documents as required Observe various maintenance facilities and disseminate results. Recommend suggestions for quality improvements. Assist the Maintenance Quality Manager in the development of improved methods and procedures for the performance of quality assurance functions Assist in the maintenance of in-house technical publication library; ensure technicians have access to publications as required Assist in the tracking and calibration of inspection and test equipment used by the maintenance department for the purpose of product acceptance Assist in the performance of receiving inspections of aircraft parts and materials Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Quality Manager Benefits That Go Above and Beyond At Life Flight Network , we believe our team members deserve more than just a job — they deserve a rewarding, supported, and balanced life.
