Uses the JTS system to plan, document, and close maintenance work, and partners closely with Production, Engineering, and Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) to prioritize urgent and safety related repairs and preventive maintenance. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance operations, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and industrial systems. Lead troubleshooting efforts using schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately. Manage maintenance schedules and work orders through Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to ensure timely completion of tasks. Oversee installation, repair, and calibration of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation equipment to support manufacturing processes. Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to high voltage and low voltage electrical systems while maintaining a safe work environment. Supervise a team of technicians and contractors; provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to foster a high-performing maintenance team. Coordinate with project management teams on equipment upgrades or facility improvements, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules. Skills Proven management experience in facilities or industrial maintenance environments with strong leadership capabilities. Extensive mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance tasks. Proficiency in reading schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex systems. Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and maintenance tracking. Knowledge of HVAC systems, high voltage and low voltage electrical systems, and safety standards related to electrical work. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools like multimeters. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Excellent communication skills in English to collaborate across teams and document maintenance activities clearly. Education and Qualifications High School Diploma or GED or 5 - 10 years of experience in industrial or facilities maintenance; experience in PCB manufacturing is a plus. Minimum of 3 years in a direct leadership role. Strong knowledge of maintenance equipment, repair techniques, and equipment for PCB manufacturing is crucial. Strong knowledge of electrical systems (single and three-phase), motors, and controls. Ability to read and understand blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals. Intermediate computer skills (MS Office, CMMS software). Experience in Lean manufacturing principles. Excellent leadership, communication, time management, and troubleshooting skills are essential. Ability to foster a cohesive team environment, while ensuring individual team members have the ability work independently. Preferred Education and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or a related field is preferred. Technical certification or trade school training. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly. Prolonged standing, walking, bending, climbing, and working at heights or in confined spaces. Use of ladders, scaffolding, and lifts to access equipment. Manual dexterity to operate tools and handle small parts. The ability to wear PPE includes safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and occasionally a respirator. Work in environments with varying temperatures, loud noise, and exposure to chemicals (with proper safety measures). Must be able to respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
