Job Summary & Purpose:
The Maintenance Manager leads A.I. Systems' technicians in all operations involving maintenance on every aircraft. This position will be responsible for managing the goals and production of the maintenance team, and updating priorities as needed to best serve our customers. This person will lead their team with confidence and precision, ensuring all necessary repairs to an aircraft are completed properly and within a timely manner. The maintenance manager is tasked with the documentation and entries of any / all updates within each aircraft's necessary logbook
Job Requirements:
Essential Functions:
An Avionics Manager's primary functions include, but are not limited to Plan, coordinate, and supervise all aircraft maintenance activities (line and base maintenance) to meet operational requirements and regulatory standards Maintain logbook inventory and record any necessary entries for all aircraft upon arrival / departure Inspect squawks upon arrival of aircraft and add all necessary discrepancies to their corresponding work order Maintain inventory and organization of maintenance shop and assist with efficiency improvements Disassemble and reassemble engines, landing gear, control systems, and other components for repair or replacement Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic equipment, manuals, and schematics Perform composite retrofits and repairs
Job Requirements:
High school diploma (required) FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate (required) One year of management or leadership experience (required)
Preferred Qualifications:
Inspection Authorization (preferred) Experience with Pratt & Whitney turbo prop engines (preferred) Experience with Continental and Lycoming engines (preferred) Experience with composite materials (preferred)
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Physically able to lift (up to) 100 lbs.
