Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence , the Director of Maintenance leads all facility maintenance operations to ensure a safe, efficient, and fully operational environment that supports high-quality resident care. Responsibilities for
Director of Maintenance:
Oversee all maintenance operations to ensure the facility is safe, functional, and well-maintained at all times. Manage preventative maintenance programs, equipment repairs, and facility systems to ensure uninterrupted operations. Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, safety regulations, and facility standards. Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and high-quality completion of work. Maintain and monitor critical facility systems, including boilers, compressors, generators, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs and ensure safety standards are consistently met. Interpret and utilize blueprints, technical manuals, and system documentation to support maintenance and repair activities. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and compliance documentation. Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies to ensure resident safety and continuity of care. Qualifications for
Director of Maintenance:
Must have a minimum of four (4) years of experience in a maintenance role. Nursing home or healthcare facility experience required. HVAC certification strongly preferred. Strong working knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and other mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and system schematics. Knowledge of applicable building codes, safety regulations, and compliance standards required. Must be licensed or certified in accordance with applicable state and regulatory requirements. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills. Our Core Values in Action Passion
