Job Description

At OTC, being a Service Manager means more than leading a team-it's about growing, earning, and building your future.
What You'll Do:
Manage the training and development of the service technicians to include but not limited to: on-the-job training, cross-training coverage, safe work habits, and good housekeeping Identify, develop, and implement process improvements and changes in equipment, tooling, and manufacturing processes supporting cost and quality efficiencies. Approve time/absence reporting, attendance control, vacation planning, overtime, etc. Work closely with management and Human Resources on annual reviews, pay raises, attendance, rewards, discipline and any other personnel issues that may arise. Guide / lead / teach technicians to conduct thorough diagnostics to identify equipment and component issues/problems/root cause/proposed fixes and repair/recondition work scopes Ensure the maintenance of detailed records of work performed, parts used, and other relevant information. Utilize OTC documentation and communication tools and process. Responsible for working with Sales and Operations, at all levels. Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to explain repair processes, provide estimates, and address any questions or concerns Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with company and industry safety regulations.
What You'll Need:
High school diploma or GED required. Technical degree or certification preferred. 5+ years of experience in repair/service of rotating equipment, pumps and motors 5+ years of leadership experience preferred. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs Prolonged standing and working in a shop environment Exposure to noise, grease, and industrial conditions Why Join OTC Industrial Technologies?
