  • $130,000 /yr Posted May 13, 2026 Maintenance Manager Position Overview We are seeking a proactive Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at our food manufacturing facility.
The Maintenance Manager will ensure reliable, safe, and efficient operation of production equipment and utilities through planned preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires strong experience with industrial automation, PLC systems, and food manufacturing standards to minimize downtime, maintain product quality, and support production targets. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach and develop the maintenance team, including technicians and contractors, to deliver high-quality, timely maintenance support. Develop, implement and manage preventative and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and lifecycle. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and PLC/control system issues; coordinate complex repairs and root-cause analysis. Plan and oversee installation, commissioning and upgrades of equipment and automation systems, ensuring compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with production, quality and engineering teams to prioritize maintenance work, support line changes and new product introductions. Manage spare parts inventory, maintenance budgets and contractor relationships to control costs and ensure parts availability. Implement continuous improvement projects to increase equipment reliability, reduce downtime and improve operational efficiency. Prepare reports and KPIs on equipment performance, downtime, maintenance activities and project status for senior management. Qualifications 5+ years of progressive maintenance experience in manufacturing Strong hands-on experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting and industrial automation systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens or similar). Proven track record implementing preventative/predictive maintenance, root-cause analysis and reliability improvement projects. Proficient in maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office; ability to analyze maintenance KPIs and generate actionable insights. Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally. Benefits
