Maintenance Supervisor Best Western Erie and Suites Erie, PA Job Details Full-time $12 - $17 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Maintenance Programmable logic controllers Maintenance management Manufacturing Mechanical troubleshooting Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facilities maintenance team in ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and reliability of our manufacturing environment. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of industrial maintenance, coordinate repair activities, and implement preventative maintenance strategies. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives, foster a safety-first culture, and ensure compliance with industry standards. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional passionate about managing complex systems and leading a skilled team to maintain high operational standards. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities across mechanical, electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and industrial systems to ensure seamless operations. Lead the planning and execution of preventive and predictive maintenance programs utilizing CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools to track work orders and asset histories. Manage maintenance schedules for equipment such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs), high voltage and low voltage electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and industrial machinery. Oversee troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades of manufacturing equipment using technical knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Ensure compliance with safety regulations by conducting regular inspections of facilities' electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage), HVAC units, and mechanical components. Lead a team of maintenance technicians by providing guidance, training, performance evaluations, and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with project management teams on facility upgrades or new installations to optimize system performance while minimizing downtime. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, asset conditions, and safety inspections to support operational excellence. Experience Proven management or supervisory experience in industrial or manufacturing facilities with a focus on facilities management or maintenance supervision. Extensive hands-on experience with industrial maintenance including mechanical repairs, electrical troubleshooting (both high voltage and low voltage), schematics reading, and use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software applications, HVAC systems, and general facilities management practices. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with safety standards related to electrical systems (including high voltage), mechanical equipment, and industrial environments. Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting, documentation, and team coordination.
