Job Description
North American Machine Works, located in Folcroft,PA has an immediate full-time day shift opening for an on-site Pump Mechanic with experience in disassembly, inspection and repair / rebuilding of mechanical equipment with an emphasis on pumps, fans, and gear reducers. Experience with dynamic balancing of pump impellers and fan rotors using a Schenck Balancing Machine a definite plus. Minimum of 5 years' experience. Must have a valid driver's license. Excellent opportunity with full benefits package provided. Oversee the maintenance and repair of industrial pumps and related machinery, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, interpreting schematics and technical documents. Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment, documenting findings in the CMMS. Employment offers opportunities for Manufacturing schools/training, training within the company for our wide range of valve and machine shop capabilities to add skill sets' to career/resume.
