Job Description

Property Maintenance Manager Trone Rental Properties, LLC is a privately owned real estate organization with a diverse portfolio of commercial shopping centers, residential communities, and storage facilities. We own and manage our own properties. We operate with a fully staffed, in-house service department—including electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, lawn-care crews, and snow-removal teams—allowing us to maintain our properties efficiently and to the highest standards. As our company continues to grow, we remain committed to delivering exceptional service, strong property performance, and long-term value across all assets. Trone is seeking a detail-oriented, organized individual to join our growing team as our Property Maintenance Manager. This position reports directly to the Director of Operations. The ideal candidate will provide leadership and guidance for all facilities and maintenance functions to include staff management and development, project management, goal setting, quality control, and training. This position will need to be a highly motivated team player with the skills necessary to bring the best out of everyone with whom they work to support. A key task will be to ensure that maintenance projects stay on track. This position is responsible for monitoring, reporting and tracking on the progress of various projects. Will coordinate with external and internal teams to ensure projects stay on track with key metrics (notably time and cost). The Maintenance Manager must perform with little or no supervision, possess the ability to prioritize job duties as needs change and upholds and enforces our policies and procedures. Qualifications Must possess excellent mechanical skills. (HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting etc.) and a minimum of three (3) years' experience in a supervisory position at a building maintenance-related position. Strong skills diagnosing maintenance problems and resolving issues. Experience working in maintenance with property management, lodging, or Senior Living/Assisted Living a plus. Exhibits excellent customer service to residents, families and prospects and promotes the company in a positive manner. Maintain a routine on-call emergency response schedule Must motivate, delegate, and provide constructive feedback as appropriate to a team. Must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of different people in a variety of situations. Perform work outside in all weather conditions. Perform physical work, that requires lifting weights of up to 50 pounds regularly and above 50 pounds occasionally.
