Residential Maintenance Lead Hershey, PA 17033 $30.00 - $30.85 an hour - Full-time $30.00 - $30.85 an hour - Full-time Residential Maintenance Lead We are looking for a skilled and dependable Residential Maintenance Lead to oversee maintenance operations for our residential communities in the area. This role requires a hands-on maintenance professional with strong leadership abilities and experience managing outside vendors and contractors. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining high property standards, responding to resident needs, and leading maintenance operations efficiently and professionally. Responsibilities Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, drywall, carpentry, and general building maintenance Lead daily maintenance operations and prioritize work orders Coordinate and manage third-party vendors, contractors, and service providers Coordinate home warranty services and maintain the database Ensure vacant units are turned and move-in ready on schedule Conduct preventive maintenance and property inspections Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed Maintain inventory, tools, and maintenance supplies Ensure work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and property standards Provide excellent customer service to residents and team members Qualifications 3-5+ years of residential or apartment maintenance experience Previous maintenance lead or supervisory experience preferred Strong troubleshooting and hands-on repair skills Experience coordinating vendors and outside contractors HVAC certification preferred Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and organizational skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Skills HVAC, plumbing, and electrical experience Apartment turn/make-ready experience Budget and vendor management experience Knowledge of safety and compliance standards What We Offer Competitive pay Benefits package Paid time off If you are a motivated maintenance professional who enjoys both hands-on work and leadership responsibilities, we would love to hear from you.
