Job Description

The key purpose of this role is to implement and optimize reliability, predictive and other reliability excellence (REX) maintenance programs for the Lancaster facility, with the objective of ensuring plant operations achieve/continuously improve high state of uptime, reliability and equipment availability. This position is safety sensitive. Model and ensure all safety, environmental, and quality procedures are followed at all times. This includes making sure the team follows all standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety rules and regulations. This includes ensuring the compliance of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards (HP, audits, housekeeping) for all Reliability Maintenance areas. Lead in a manner that drives the identification, implementation and documentation of maintenance best practices. Connect with other Arconic locations and outside companies to benchmark and share best practices. Steer and support REX systems and culture implementation as well as sustainability practices throughout the department and organization. Drive and sponsor the evaluation of equipment failures and failure history to identify and recommend potential capital or expense projects to eliminate equipment failures. Provide technical expertise to plant personnel on troubleshooting failures, repairs, and evaluating solutions. Participate in the maintenance activities for all the production departments' manufacturing equipment, as well as the auxiliary equipment associated with the manufacturing process, consistently looking at opportunities to increase the identification of leading indicators of potential equipment failures. Develop and maintain department budget and spend. This includes participation in the development and execution of major maintenance capital budgets and spend. Establish and maintain KPI's, maintenance procedures and policies to ensure the Reliability Centered Maintenance program is measurable, effective, and sustainable. Provide leadership and guidance to the Asset Management and Reliability Teams on methods, maintenance, and control of processes and systems. Manage site plans for preventive, predictive and sustainability maintenance for mechanical, electrical, structural, and instrumentation equipment.
You have:
(required) HS Diploma or GED from an accredited institution Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment Minimum of 2 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Exceptional Candidates also have: (preferred) Advanced Degree in a technical field; Engineering, IT, Technician Minimum of two years' experience in an aluminum manufacturing environment 3 years of supervisory experience 5 years of maintenance experience 3 years of project management experience
