This position will coordinate Machine Maintenance and Electro/Mechanical Tech resources to support the plant as required. Continuous improvement recommendations are expected in order to improve processes and systems corporate wide. This position will also assist production management in the maintenance, training and operation of this equipment. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for all activities/persons associated with the direction and support of maintenance functions at a given Ashley location. This could include building, machine, and supports groups depending upon the location. What do you need? High School Diploma or equivalent, Required Associate Degree in Supervisory Management or related field, Desired 2 years in a manufacturing or distribution center environment, Required Previous experience in supervision, Required Experience in Manufacturing or warehouse equipment and department processes, Required Who are We? Troubleshoot, repair, install, maintain, all supported facility/building systems. Use of different mechanical tools as well as electrical testing and monitoring equipment including multi-meters. Perform preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment at intervals reflected per Maximo. Background in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Mechanical experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot/diagnose inoperable equipment to ascertain and repair deficiencies. Prepare parts lists for repair of equipment submitted to supervisor for requisition to Purchasing Department. Rebuild, refurbish and modernize old or obsolete machinery, processes or technology. Troubleshoot, test, adjust and repair facility equipment and processes. Comply to and enforce all safety procedures, including LOTO. Contribute ideas for improvements in all areas using appropriate means of communication.
