Job Description

Service Manager B:
Retail The Service Manager is primarily responsible for managing the branch and satellite office to meet the financial service needs of customers in our community. The Service Manager leads the team to ensure exceptional customer and team member experience, manage risk, and support growth. As a leader, you will coach, motivate, and develop your team of direct reports to achieve their full potential while providing the highest quality of service to every customer.
  • Supervise day-to-day administrative and operational activities of the branch staff, including: o Ensuring that operating policies and procedures, including those related to security, are followed appropriately. o Providing recommendations regarding improved operating systems, processes and procedures. o Promoting high levels of customer awareness and satisfaction
  • Possess a working knowledge relating to bank products and services in order to correctly process every manner of account transaction and related maintenance.
  • Ensure the timely completion of all cash audits.
  • Receive and respond to customer inquiries and requests using various communication channels.
  • Research, troubleshoot, and resolve complex problems and inquiries escalated from external or internal customers. Provide explicit instruction and authorization for appropriate correction to customer account(s), as needed.
  • Review maintenance reports related to retail banking transactions to identify, mitigate, and/or correct potential issues including suspected fraud.
  • Provide hands-on training and support to all retail staff related to new and existing policies and procedures.
  • Review and approve time entry and PTO requests for Branch staff.
  • Enter/approve foreign item and wire related transactions following current policy
  • Successfully complete all online training courses assigned.
  • Adhere to compliance with regards to
BSA/AML/OFAC
policies and procedures that may include CIP data gathering, OFAC compliance, and the identification and internal reporting of suspicious activity.
  • Performs additional duties as required.
High School or GED 2 years' retail banking experience preferably in a supervisory position such as Head Teller, Universal Banker, or Assistant Branch Operations Manager Excellent managerial skills Excellent customer service skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to perform in a fast paced and or changing environment Ability to use general office equipment, including a computer and standard office software Driver's license: ability to travel between locations, when required Experience with the FIS Horizon operating system preferred but not required.
