Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to join our Cottager Servies Team. This position will work with our general maintenance teams and Sewer and Water Plant teams. The Grounds Maintenance Supervisor will ensure the community's landscaping, hardscaping, buildings, and infrastructure are maintained to the highest standards. Assis in all tasks as assigned for the support of the community across all departments. Essential Duties
  • Maintaining community landscaping and roads year round
  • Directly oversee all grounds mowing and landscaping with 1-3 staff member oversight
  • Complete Building inspections - Daily/Weekly/Monthly - with Documentation and action plans
  • Complete minor repairs unsupervised as needed on building and community infrastructure
  • Work under the Supervision of qualified personnel for upkeep and monitoring of our water and sewer systems.
  • Support set up and break down of events
  • Assist in maintaining all racquet sports courts
  • Operate Heavy equipment, power tools, chainsaws, Landscaping equipment, and snow removal equipment as needed with proper training and PPE for all situations
  • Maintain equipment and ensure safe work practices. Qualifications
  • Experience in minor building repairs, plumbing, carpentry, electrical preferred.
  • Heavy equipment, Landscaping equipment, and snow removal equipment experience of 2+years
  • Basic understanding of power tools and hand tools
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work unsupervised, good communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
