Job Description

Recipe Philly is a first-of-its-kind restaurant concept: a full-service dining experience based on the principles of . Our menu is built from real family recipes, surfaced through a citywide competition and accompanying TV series. The food here means something. So does the team behind it. We're looking for a Service Manager to lead the front-of-house experience, owning service standards, developing the team, and ensuring every guest interaction reflects the quality and uniqueness of the concept.
Desired start date:
Mid-July 2026, ahead of our August opening What You'll Own This role is responsible for delivering a consistently high-level guest experience while building and leading a strong front-of-house team. Lead all front-of-house operations, including servers, hosts, and support staff Set, train, and uphold service standards across all shifts Drive consistency in guest experience from first impression through final touchpoint Partner with the General Manager to align service execution with overall business goals Service & Guest Experience Champion a hospitality-first culture that feels polished, warm, and intentional Actively manage the floor—coaching in real time and stepping in when needed Handle guest feedback and service recovery with professionalism and urgency Ensure reservations, pacing, and flow of service are executed seamlessly Team Leadership & Development Hire, train, and develop a high-performing FOH team Create clear expectations and hold team members accountable to standards Foster a positive, professional environment that supports retention and growth Collaborate with the Bar Lead/Mixologist and Culinary Director to ensure alignment across the guest experience Operations & Execution Support scheduling, labor management, and shift planning Ensure all service-related systems and processes are followed consistently Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the dining room and guest-facing areas Oversee service across multiple formats, including full-service dining and alternative pickup experiences (e.g., food lockers) What We're Looking For Proven experience leading service in a high-quality, full-service restaurant Strong floor presence with the ability to lead by example Excellent communication and guest engagement skills Ability to coach, develop, and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment Highly organized with attention to detail and service consistency Comfortable operating in a high-visibility, high-expectation environment Why This Role Is Different This is not a traditional service manager role. You'll be helping define what service looks like for a new concept—one that blends hospitality, storytelling, and community in a highly visible setting. You'll work closely with an experienced leadership team, including the General Manager, Culinary Director, and Bar Lead, to build a service model that is both operationally sound and memorable for guests.

$90,000.00 per year
