Job Description

Maintenance Manager / Maintenance Supervisor Position Summary Responsible for overseeing and executing all maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment performance, production efficiency, safety compliance, and cost control. This role supports production operations by setting up all filling lines, maintaining equipment, leading maintenance initiatives, Key Responsibilities Equipment Maintenance & Production Support Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all production equipment as needed. Set up and maintain filling lines and related production equipment. Ensure QC reports are completed and included in all equipment set-ups. Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment. Rebuild or replace equipment as necessary, including but not limited to: Filling lines Pumps Gear boxes Bearings Bushings Chains Filling heads Conveyors Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, and plumbing work as required. Maintain property, building systems, and plant mechanical system. Continuous Improvement & Cost Management Design and install equipment modifications to increase production efficiency and reduce COGS. Develop and manage the annual repair and maintenance budget. Update and maintain digital set-up manuals for each production line and product. Ensure QC reports are included in documentation. Report to ownership any conditions that may prevent product manufacturing to established standards. Act as a business partner by understanding the broader operational and financial impact of maintenance decisions. Leadership & Training Train machine operators to properly operate and adjust equipment during production. Train and manage maintenance staff as required. Manage subcontractors and external service providers. Participate in and support weekly safety meetings. Compliance & Safety Maintain and enforce all Safety Policies and Procedures. Work in compliance with Company policies, GMPs, and SOPs. Promote and maintain a safe working environment. Qualifications & Skills Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills. Working knowledge of machine shop tools and measuring equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings. Experience in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work through ambiguity and change. Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to "see the big picture" and contribute strategically to business operations.
