This pivotal role combines technical expertise with leadership, ensuring that all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably. As a key member of the facilities management team, you will supervise maintenance staff, manage projects, and uphold safety regulations while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your proactive approach and technical mastery will help maintain optimal production environments and uphold our commitment to excellence. Duties Lead and supervise maintenance teams responsible for mechanical systems repair, electrical troubleshooting (including high and low voltage), HVAC system repair, plumbing maintenance, and industrial maintenance tasks. Manage facilities maintenance projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to schedule work orders, track asset history, and optimize maintenance workflows. Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and engineering troubleshooting guides to diagnose issues accurately. Oversee safety compliance by enforcing safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring proper use of tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing. Coordinate with engineering teams on troubleshooting complex mechanical or electrical problems involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems. Manage facilities management activities including HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, high voltage electrical work, and low voltage system upgrades. Supervise the training and development of maintenance staff to enhance technical skills in areas such as schematics reading, industrial systems repair, and safety procedures. Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements to foster a safe working environment. Requirements Proven management experience leading facilities or industrial maintenance teams with a strong background in supervising technical staff. Extensive mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in mechanical systems repair within manufacturing or industrial settings. Proficiency in electrical systems troubleshooting including high voltage (HV) and low voltage applications; experience with ohmmeters essential. Strong understanding of HVAC systems including repair, troubleshooting, and system optimization. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, engineering troubleshooting techniques, and automation controls. Experience managing facilities maintenance using CMMS platforms for work order management and asset tracking. Knowledge of safety regulations related to industrial environments; ability to enforce safety protocols effectively. Excellent project management skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks efficiently. Strong leadership qualities with supervisory experience in managing diverse teams within manufacturing or industrial operations.
