TITLE:
Director of Maintenance Data Science & Analytics -
Multiple Openings DUTIES:
Lead a team of Data Scientists to develop advanced analytical models and machine learning solutions for key projects. Collaborate with the IT Advanced Analytics team for model deployment and ensure seamless integration with operational systems. Oversee the maintenance data strategy, data integration requirements, and data governance of the Maintenance Organization. Lead initiatives in data integration, governance, and data literacy across the enterprise to ensure high-quality actionable data is available for decision-making. Lead all reporting, data visualization, and decision support tools to both internal and external stakeholders. Maintain exiting content, develop new reports and dashboards, and handle ad-hoc data requests. Create ad-hoc reporting solutions, business intelligence tools, and advance geospatial/GIS analytics, including geographic network analysis, proximity analysis, geo-statistics, and map visualizations. Drive the evolutions of analytical standards, best practices, and continues improvement, including evaluating new toolsets, developing training materials, and sharing expertise. Deliver and maintain high-quality, scalable, and impactful AI models and machine learning solutions that drive business value. Improve data quality, streamlined data integration, and effective data governance practices within Maintenance with influence across the enterprise. Deliver actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across the organization through high-quality reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses. Lead the development of a robust analytical ecosystem, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of all outputs. Drive continuous improvement in tools, methodologies, and skillsets to enhance team capabilities. Oversee stable project workflows, process documentation, and role definitions to support the organization's data-driven initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience:
Master's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Systems Engineering, Data Science, or a related field plus three (3) years of experience as a Data Scientist, Analyst, Engineer, or any occupation in which the required experience was gained.
Alternate Education and Experience:
In lieu of a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in stated fields plus three (3) years of stated experience, the Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in stated fields plus five (5) years of stated experience.
Special Skills:
Plus demonstrated experience in the following:
  • Experience developing and deploying advanced analytical models and machine learning solutions to support business operations;
  • Experience in data quality, data integration, and data governance best practices;
  • Expertise in reporting, data visualization, and business intelligence tools required;
  • Familiarity with the maintenance and operations domain and experience applying analytics to relevant use cases;
  • Experience driving analytical standards and best practices across the organization;
  • Advanced analytics and statistics skills;
  • Team/Function Management;
  • Understanding of data structures;
  • SQL, Python, VBA, or general programming knowledge;
  • Ability to use data to answer business questions;
  • Ability to present data to clearly represent answers to questions or identify opportunities;
  • Ability to collaborate and organize interdepartmental resources; and
  • Ability to develop and manage team resources.
