Role Overview:

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you'll lead maintenance operations to ensure equipment readiness, production efficiency, and compliance with food safety standards. You'll manage a skilled team, support continuous improvement, and help maintain a safe, high-performing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Maintenance Teams

• Supervise Mechanics, Machine Cleaners, and Tool Room Attendants to ensure equipment readiness and cleanliness. Drive Equipment Reliability
• Monitor equipment performance and implement continuous improvement actions. Collaborate Across Departments
• Work with other shifts and teams to resolve issues and improve processes. Ensure Food Safety Compliance
• Maintain strict adherence to GMP, SOP, HACCP, allergen control, and SQF requirements. Support Production Scheduling
• Align labor and equipment resources to meet production goals. Manage HR Responsibilities
• Interview, coach, conduct performance reviews, and support leadership development. Promote Workplace Safety
• Investigate incidents, reduce risks, and reinforce safe working practices. Lead Communication & Training
• Run weekly team meetings and train new employees on SOPs, GMPs, safety, and equipment use.

About You:

5+ years supervisory experience in an industrial maintenance environment. Strong mechanical aptitude; formal technical training preferred. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Familiarity with food processing and GMPs preferred. Strong communication skills; able to work independently and as part of a team. Willing to work overtime or on-call when required. Excellent attendance record. Must be able to read, write, and speak English for safety and operational communication

Knowledge of:

Electrical systems up to 480 VAC Allen Bradley & Siemens PLC troubleshooting Hydraulic & pneumatic systems Lockout/Tagout MIG/TIG welding, plumbing, refrigeration
