Hybrid (Field / Office / On the Road) About the Role Fuze RE is seeking an experienced Maintenance Operations Supervisor / Lead Technician to oversee field maintenance operations while serving as a hands-on leader across residential and commercial properties throughout the Twin Cities metro area. This position is ideal for an experienced technician who not only excels in maintenance and repair work but can also coordinate technicians, support Project Managers, oversee vendor execution, and ensure work is completed efficiently and to company standards. This is a hybrid role that combines onsite fieldwork, operational oversight, and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments, communicates professionally, and can balance field execution with office coordination and team leadership responsibilities.
Compensation & Benefits Hourly Pay:

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight Manage day-to-day maintenance and repair operations, including technician scheduling, work assignments, and quality control. Partner closely with Project Managers to execute renovation, repair, and property improvement projects efficiently. Triage maintenance requests and assign work to in-house technicians or third-party vendors. Coordinate specialty vendors and subcontractors while monitoring timelines, workmanship, and project costs. Maintain accurate documentation through company work order and project management systems. Assist with project coordination, onsite logistics, material planning, and workflow management to support successful project execution. Serve as a field leader and escalation point for operational or onsite concerns. Field & Maintenance Responsibilities Perform a wide range of repairs and maintenance work, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, appliance troubleshooting, and finish work. Independently diagnose issues and complete repairs efficiently and correctly. Conduct site walk-throughs and proactively identify maintenance or safety concerns. Respond promptly to assigned work orders while maintaining strong productivity and workmanship standards. Communicate clearly with management regarding project status, timelines, material needs, and field updates. Ensure all completed work meets company quality standards, safety expectations, and applicable building codes. Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites. Accurately document completed work using company systems and mobile technology. Represent Fuze RE professionally when interacting with tenants, owners, vendors, and project partners. Team Leadership Supervise and mentor maintenance technicians by providing hands-on leadership, training, and support in the field. Assist in developing technician skillsets through coaching and cross-training. Provide field support on complex repairs, troubleshooting, or high-priority projects when needed. Help enforce company SOPs, safety standards, and quality expectations across maintenance operations. Serve as the first escalation point for technician, vendor, or field-related concerns. Quality & Efficiency Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure projects and repairs meet company standards. Identify process improvements that increase operational efficiency and reduce costs. Track operational performance metrics including repair timelines, vendor performance, and service quality. Support continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance and field operations. Qualifications 3-5+ years of experience in maintenance, handyman services, construction, renovations, or facilities management Previous leadership or technician oversight experience strongly preferred Strong working knowledge of residential and light commercial repair systems Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities High standards for workmanship, accountability, and job quality Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable using mobile apps, digital work order systems, and project management tools Reliable transportation and standard trade tools required Valid driver's license required Bilingual abilities are a plus, but not required Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday Day, morning, and evening shifts as needed Weekends as needed Location Requirement Must be able to work throughout the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metro area Relocation required prior to start date if not local Why Join Fuze RE?
