You will serve as the key liaison between on-site maintenance teams and regional leadership, helping strengthen performance, train staff, and ensure operational excellence across the portfolio. Charleston, SC (Primary Focus) | Limited Travel to GA $85,000 - $95,000 + $550/month vehicle stipend + phone stipend What You'll Do Oversee maintenance operations across multiple apartment communities Serve as the primary liaison between on-site maintenance teams and regional leadership Conduct regular property visits, inspections, and maintenance assessments Provide hands-on support during staffing gaps, turnovers, and emergencies Train and mentor Maintenance Supervisors and Technicians Support work order management, unit turns, and preventative maintenance programs Partner with Property Managers and Regional leadership to prioritize maintenance needs Monitor vendor performance and ensure quality standards are met Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA guidelines, and company policies Assist with budgeting oversight for maintenance and unit turnover expenses Support emergency maintenance response as needed, including after-hours coverage What We're Looking For 5+ years of multifamily maintenance experience required 2+ years of supervisory or lead maintenance experience Strong technical skills (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, etc.) Proven ability to train and develop maintenance teams Experience working across multiple properties preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to travel within assigned portfolio (up to 60% travel expectation, primarily local SC) EPA Certification required Valid driver's license required What We Offer Competitive base salary: $85K-$95K Excellent medical, vision and dental benefits $550/month vehicle stipend (gas + wear/tear support) $50/month phone stipend Opportunity to work across a growing regional portfolio Hands-on leadership role with visibility to senior operations Strong support structure and collaborative leadership team #IND
