Job responsibilities include those listed in competency document. 2. Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values. 3. Maintains building components such as Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Hot Water, gas, Building Automation, Energy Management, and follows through to completion any required repairs maintenance and alterations. 4. Ensure that all buildings and structures are well-maintained, including: Ceilings, walls, floors, roofs, doors, windows, furniture, framework, drywall, and locks. 5. Achieves building maintenance operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, work order productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing risk assessments; identifying trends; managing energy efficiency, determining system improvements; implementing change. 6. Provides Facilities Management support by responding to requests for mechanical problems. 7. Complies with codes by adhering to requirements; advising senior management on needed actions. 8. Maintains supplies inventory by checking material stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for material; reviewing and approving invoices. 9. Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs. 10. Updates Facilities Management job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. 11. Ensure maintenance of all systems as required by applicable codes and standards. 12. Ensure that personnel are trained, and supplies are available to keep all structures in good repair 13. Monitor, maintain and repair equipment & utility systems and help to ensure performance indication logs are maintained. 14. Review Work Orders daily and complete associated tasks/repairs by Type/Priority. 15. Working weekends and different shifts and taking rotating call will be required. 16. Requires the ability to work under/handle stressful situations. 18. Must be a quick thinker and able to displays positive emotional behavior, as well as apply positive social skills with co-workers, vendors, customers, and patients.
Qualifications/Training:
- High School/GED.
- Experience maintaining commercial/industrial buildings.
- Must be able to demonstrate general computer data entry. Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education
- Due to insurance regulations, must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license.
