The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, including industrial mechanic experience, electrical expertise, and proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs). This role involves leading maintenance activities, troubleshooting complex systems, and ensuring optimal equipment performance. The Lead Maintenance Technician will also coordinate with other departments to support manufacturing processes and uphold safety standards. A background in industrial electrician work, hydraulics, HVAC/R, welding, and field service is highly desirable. Fluency in English and excellent analysis skills are essential for success in this position. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities across the manufacturing plant. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage equipment, utilizing schematics, multimeters such as ammeters and ohmmeters. Maintain and repair mechanical systems using precision measuring instruments, welding (including welding), and hydraulic tools. Program, troubleshoot, and optimize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure machinery operates efficiently. Operate and maintain CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for work order management and documentation. Conduct inspections of equipment using SCADA systems, analyze system data, and implement improvements. Utilize field service skills to perform repairs on-site at various locations within the facility. Manage maintenance inventory and ensure availability of parts for timely repairs. Train team members on maintenance procedures and safety protocols. Ensure compliance with safety standards related to high voltage, electrical work, HVAC/R systems, welding, and other technical areas. Support customer service initiatives by ensuring minimal downtime of production equipment. Skills Extensive experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment. Strong electrical knowledge including high voltage and low voltage systems; capable of reading schematics. Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) programming and troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, welding (including welding), and precision measuring instruments. Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking. Ability to operate scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely. Knowledge of analysis techniques for diagnosing mechanical or electrical issues using ammeters, ohmmeters, etc. Excellent mechanical knowledge with a focus on industrial mechanics and electrical systems. Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills in English.
Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
