The Prosperity plant joins a corporate family that has manufacturing operations in Germany and Poland. MM Technics is looking to hire a qualified candidate for our Maintenance Manager position for our 1st shift operations.
Position Snapshot:
Under minimal supervision, this full-time position will be responsible for the electrical maintenance of machinery and the facility to include preventative maintenance as well as repairs. Troubleshooting of electrical issues as well as simple PLC issues.
Responsibilities:
  • Read and understand blueprints, wiring diagrams or sketch in order to build new equipment or repair old equipment
  • Locate and repair/replace broken wires, contacts and electrical connections
  • Welding operation (resistance welding, spot welding, set up and operation)
  • Preventative maintenance of machinery
  • Assist with installation of new equipment
  • Clean and maintain an orderly work area (5S)
  • Minor machinery repairs
  • General plant and building maintenance
  • Other duties as assigned by plant manager
Requirements:
  • A.S. degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of electrical maintenance experience, preferred
  • Basic computer and troubleshooting skills
  • Understanding of work orders systems
  • Must be self-motivated and work with little or no supervision
  • Ability to work in both hot and cold environments
  • Ability to operate various shop tools including power and manually operated wrenches
  • Able to comfortable lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to comply with all safety and environmental rules
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position will require continuous standing, walking, sitting, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, working overhead and lifting of items up to 50 pounds. Frequent pushing/pulling of a moving cart and moving/lifting equipment.
