Industrial Maintenance Supervisor

You will lead a dedicated team of 8 hourly maintenance professionals in a heavy industrial environment where safety is our North Star. The Role As the Maintenance Supervisor, you are the backbone of our site's reliability. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, you will oversee the safe and efficient execution of all maintenance programs, from daily breakdown repairs to long-term preventive strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety Champion:

Lead safety sessions and ensure 100% compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Team Leadership:

Supervise and develop a team of 8 hourly technicians and manage external contractors.

Reliability Management:

Utilize CMMS (Tabware/SAP) to manage asset lists, PM compliance, and regulatory schedules.

Data-Driven Decisions:

Analyze oil analysis, vibration monitoring, and thermography data to determine repair vs. replacement economics.

Project Oversight:

Lead industrial projects and implement process equipment improvements to boost productivity.

Troubleshooting:

Act as the technical expert for production personnel to resolve equipment issues quickly. Who You Are We are looking for a leader with "boots on the ground" experience who can communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

1+ years of supervisory experience in an industrial maintenance setting.

Technical Depth:

Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with heavy machinery/heavy industrial processes.

Systems Knowledge:

Proven experience using a CMMS (SAP, Tabware, or similar).

Leadership:

Ability to lead, develop, and mentor a technical workforce.

Flexibility:

While typically a Mon-Fri schedule, you must be available for on-call coverage to support our 24/7 operation.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement. Knowledge of predictive maintenance procedures (thermography, vibration analysis, etc.).

Work Environment & Physical Demands Balance:

60% on the floor (walking, observing, troubleshooting) and 40% in an office setting.

Physical:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. infrequently.

Conditions:

Exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and chemical process equipment.

Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:

Starting at $95,000/year.

Eligible for a 20% annual performance bonus.
