Nielson is looking for a Service Operations Manager to join our team! This role will build and manage the systems, processes, teams, and vendor relationships necessary to support company-owned properties and enhancement opportunities. The Service Operations Manager will manage a combination of in-house technicians, flexible labor resources, and subcontractor partners to efficiently complete the maintenance, repair, turnover, and enhancement work to properties. Life Insurance Policy Employee Assistance Program Job Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee maintenance and repair activities for Nielson Properties. Act as the primary point of coordination for maintenance operations and service execution. Develop and manage a structured enhancement program for completed homes. Enhancements may include garage floor coatings, heaters, closet systems, smart home installations, patio improvements, and more. Build and lead a flexible service workforce capable of supporting maintenance and enhancement activities. Build a reliable network of specialty service providers capable of supporting department growth. Design and implement the operational systems and processes necessary to support an efficient and scalable service department. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
A valid driver license is required. Experience in property maintenance management, residential construction or remodeling, and vendor or subcontractor management is preferred. Strong organizational and planning skills. Excellent communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Must have a customer service mindset.
