Service Manager Rapid City, SD 57701 Full-time Full-time Service Manager About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Service Manager to lead our service department and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and capable of managing technicians, workflow, and daily operations efficiently. Responsibilities Oversee daily service department operations Manage and support service technicians and staff Schedule work orders and coordinate service calls Ensure high-quality customer service and issue resolution Monitor productivity, efficiency, and department performance Maintain inventory, tools, and equipment Develop and enforce service procedures and safety standards Communicate with customers regarding timelines, estimates, and completed work Assist with employee development Review completed work orders for billing Qualifications Previous management or supervisory experience preferred Strong leadership and communication skills Strong mechanical and trouble shooting knowledge Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities Experience in service operations, maintenance, automotive, HVAC, equipment, petroleum, or related industry preferred Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Proficient with computers, scheduling systems, and customer management software Valid driver's license preferred What We Offer Competitive pay 401 k Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Paid time off Opportunities for advancement Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday (additional hours as needed)
